To improve the hospital leading cadre management ability and enhance regional competitiveness of the hospital, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University (hereinafter referred to as the "SHHMU") held middle-level cadres management training course on January 20, 2024. Mr. Wangli Liu, the vice president of Tianfu Hospital of West China Hospital of Sichuan University and Mr. Longyao Ran, the director of the department of comprehensive management of medicine management department, were invited to be the trainers. About 300 staffs, including the hospital high-level management team members, all middle-level cadres, medical leaders and functional management departments directors, attended this training. The vice president Dr. Zeng Yuecan presided over the meeting.
Dr. Yi Wang, the secretary of the Party Committee of SHHMU, expressed his warm welcome and sincere thanks to the experts from West China Hospital. He pointed out that under the new situation of medical reform, the development mode of hospitals has shifted from scale expansion to high-quality and efficiency improvement, and the operation mode has shifted from extensive management to refined management. How to continuously promote and improve the performance reform and strengthen refined management has become the key to the development of hospitals in China. The key work in the next stage of the hospital will focus on the construction of international medical center and the implementation of medical team and operation team as the starting point, comprehensively improve the medical quality, medical safety and medical management level of the hospital, and promote the high-quality development of the hospital. The lecture given by experts from Sichuan West China Hospital will surely inject strong impetus into the reform, integration, innovation and high-quality development of the hospital.
Mr. Wanli Liu gave the lecture, Construction of hospital operation management system: Concept, method and practice, combined with the current national public hospital quality development strategy, development trend and medical service system change, illustrates the establishment of modern hospital management system, realize hierarchical refined operation management of the importance of the development of public hospitals. Starting from the innovative practice of operation management of West China Hospital, it focuses on sharing the development process of operation management, refined management mode, human resource management system construction and hospital performance management experience of West China Hospital. He stressed that the operation and management of hospitals should be carried out in combination with the actual situation of hospitals, including hierarchical management, medical resource allocation, human resource management, and performance evaluation system and other aspects.
Mr. Longyao Yan lectured the course Medical Safety Management, starting from the nature of medical safety management, around the medical risk prevention and control, effective communication, medical adverse events and dispute complaints management, continuous improvement of quality and safety of four major modules, introduces the West China Hospital strong medical safety service ability, perfect medical safety management architecture system and mature hospital operation procedures, with vivid case briefly expounds how to pay special attention to the medical safety management work, clear, distinct, to the participants with profound enlightenment.
Finally, Mr. Wuping Zheng, the vice president of SHHMU, pointed out in the summary that the training played a positive role in promoting the academic vision of SHHMU, strengthening medical safety management, cultivating professional management team and improving the operation and management level of the hospital.
