On the afternoon of January 29, 2025,The Second Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University ("SHHMU") held a grand commendation ceremony for the “Service Stars” and 2025 Outstanding Workers. All members of the hospital leadership team, directors and heads of various departments, head nurses, all awardees, and employee representatives gathered together to witness the glorious moment and gather strength for future development. The ceremony was presided over by Pang Xiaoman, Deputy Secretary of the Hospital Party Committee.

The conference commenced in a solemn atmosphere. Deputy Secretary Pang Xiaoman read the Decision of the Committee of SHHMU of the Communist Party of China on Commending the “Service Stars” and 2025 Outstanding Workers, and extended congratulations to the 30 outstanding workers honored.

Amid inspiring music and warm applause, the grand award ceremony proceeded in order. Winners went on stage in groups by category to receive certificates of honor.Vice Presidents Chen Huanxiong and Li Jie presented awards to 10 “Outstanding Medical Workers” including Wang Maoze and Wang Haihua, and 14 “Outstanding Nursing Workers” including Ye Xiaojing and Tong Jinting.Vice President Zeng Yuecan presented awards to 3 “Outstanding Workers in Medical Technology and Pharmacy” including Wang Bingshu.Member Ou Min presented awards to 3 “Outstanding Workers in Administration and Logistics” including Chen Lihua.Every certificate embodied hard work and dedication, and every handshake conveyed sincere respect, pushing the atmosphere to repeated climaxes.

The power of examples was deeply moving. Wang Haihua, representative of Outstanding Medical Workers, and Tong Jinting, representative of Outstanding Nursing Workers, shared their work insights and practical experience one after another. Their sincere speeches demonstrated the exquisite professional skills, selfless dedication and profound humanistic care of medical workers in the new era, striking a chord with all attendees.

At the end of the conference, Chen Huanxiong, Member of the Hospital Party Committee and Vice President, delivered a concluding speech. On behalf of the hospital leadership team, he extended warm congratulations and high respect to all award winners, and fully affirmed their important contributions to practicing the hospital’s service philosophy and promoting the development of the hospital with concrete actions. He emphasized that “Examples are visible philosophy, and role models are tangible benchmarks.” Vice President Chen Huanxiong called on all cadres and staff of the hospital to take advanced models as examples, turn the power of role models into a strong driving force for work, and strive with higher morale and solid work style to jointly improve medical services, promote high-quality development, and support the construction of Healthy Hainan.
