2022 New Year's Message from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University

    Filled with the joy of struggle and harvest, we bid farewell to 2021; carrying opportunities and dreams, we strode into 2022. On the occasion of the new year, the hospital party committee and administration, to the medical staff who are sticking to the front line, to the retired old comrades who have always been concerned about the development of the hospital, to the vast number of patients and friends who have long trusted and supported us, and people from all walks of life.      Time is the greatest writer, faithfully recording the footsteps of those who strive.2021 is a year when we deeply understand the century-old red heritage of the Communist Party of China. Looking back on the party's century-old development history, it is inspiring.In 2021, we will nurture new opportunities in the crisis, open a new situation in the changing situation, release new temperature with service, highlight new strength with responsibility, and leap into new heights with strength, fully demonstrating the homeland of the people of SHHMU.Looking back on the year, we are grateful.

     This year, we focused on strengthening the party building for the development of the hospital. All the cadres and workers in the hospital established "four consciousnesses", strengthened "four self-confidence", achieved "two maintenance", and thoroughly implemented the leadership of the party committee.Solidly carry out the study and education of party history, carry forward the great spirit of founding the party, draw on the great power of forging ahead, and gather the majestic strength, and realize the steady development of the hospital.

     This year, we took the re-evaluation of "Top Three" and the performance appraisal of public hospitals as the starting point to improve the quality of medical care and control the safety of medical care, implement the core medical system, reshape the quality management system, and continuously improve the medical service behavior.Various medical indicators have hit record highs again, and the comprehensive strength has been further improved.

     This year, we carefully implemented the strategic deployment of "one department, two institutes, four hospitals and four centers". New progress has been made in discipline construction. 12 disciplines have been approved as Hainan Provincial Clinical Medical Center or Hainan Provincial Organ System respectively.The hospital has successively been approved by the National Infectious Disease Clinical Research Center Branch Center, the National Tropical Disease Research Center Hainan Branch Center, the National Cardiovascular Disease Clinical Medical Research Center Branch Center and the first batch of Helicobacter pylori standardized diagnosis and treatment outpatient demonstration centers in China.

     This year, our teaching and research planning has been highly developed, and our innovative efforts have yielded fruitful results.The Institute of Nephrology was established; participated in the 4th Hainan Provincial Residential Training Skills Competition and won the first place in general practice; won 1 second prize of the Provincial Natural Science Award, 23 scientific research projects, and published 190 papers, including 25 SCI papers and 2 provincial utility model patents.

     This year, we focused on the theme of "checking the blocking points, breaking the problems, and promoting development", deeply rooted in the feelings of the people, taking "I do practical things for the people" as the foothold of the party history study and education, and continued to improve the medical environment and effectively improve the medical experience.Introduced the cancellation of appointments for non-medical needs, fully implemented the "bedside settlement" business, opened a smart hospital, opened a self-service kitchen for patients and other convenience measures, opened a "one-stop service center" and "pre-hospitalization center" to simplify the handling process for patients and their families.Build an online foreigner authentication channel, so that non-mainland ID cards can also be archived on mobile phones and make an appointment for registration.Let the people have more sense of gain, happiness and security.

     This year, we steadily promoted infrastructure construction, humanistic hospitals, smart hospitals and performance management.We have added More than 40 sets of large-scale high-tech cutting-edge medical equipment, such as the world's leading MRI-guided linear accelerator, PET/MR, 3.0T/1.5T MRI, ultra-high-end 256-row gemstone CT, 320-row wide-body detector CT, double-panel suspension DSA, single-panel DSA, ECMO etc., which better meet the needs of clinical and scientific research. We also held lychee feasts and coconut feasts, and made hospital-exclusive moon cakes.These measures have effectively promoted the sustainable, healthy and harmonious development of the hospital, and the employee happiness index has been improved.

     This year, we took multiple measures to consolidate our responsibilities at every level, continuously improved prevention and control facilities and prevention and control plans, and upgraded and renovated fever clinics. Centering on fever clinics and taking pre-examination and triage as a barrier, we continued to optimize the procedures and patient access of outpatients.Strengthen infection control training, through training assessment and emergency drills, to achieve full coverage of prevention and control knowledge and skills; strengthen nosocomial infection supervision, and strictly prevent nosocomial infections.Scientifically study and judge the epidemic situation, control the normalization and emergency state of epidemic prevention and control, and implement precise and detailed anti-epidemic measures according to the focus of prevention and control at different stages.

     This year, we started with a strong heart and worked hard, dispatched 3 village staff to Chengdong Village, and invested 85,000 yuan to transform the village appearance, build sewage channels, clean water towers, repair drinking water pipelines and other projects; More than 200 experts have been dispatched to the communities and towns to deliver medicine and medicine to the people, and to deliver the high-quality medical resources of the top three hospitals to the door of the people;6 new medical alliance member units have been signed, a total of 8 specialist alliances have been established, and medical service guarantee agreements have been signed with 10 enterprise units. Received 86 technical backbones from lower-level hospitals to participate in short and medium-term training, and coordinated and organized 89 experts to conduct business guidance in member units.
