On November 30th, Prof. Chen Guoqiang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Vice President of Shanghai Jiaotong University and president of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, accompanied by Yang Jun, President  of Hainan Medical University and Vice President Xiang Wei, visited the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University. Wang Yi, President of the Second Affiliated Hospital of HNMU, He Qiyi, Party Secretary of the Second Clinical College, He Haiwu, Vice President of the Second Affiliated Hospital of HNMU, and Zeng Qi, Vice President of the Second Affiliated Hospital of HNMU, and directors of relevant departments were accompanied by the whole process.

On behalf of all the staff, President Wang Yi expressed warm welcome to Professor Chen Guoqiang's visit to our hospital. Later, Professor Chen came to the emergency department to visit the construction of the chest pain center, stroke center and trauma center in the hospital. Walking together in the hospital, President Wang Yi gave a detailed introduction of the hospital  to Professor Chen. Professor Chen and his entourage visited the National Emergency Medical Rescue Base  (Hainan) , the Transplantation Institution of HNMU and the Organ Transplantation department with great interest, listened to the construction process, knew the current development status, and provided opinions and suggestions for future planning.

Finally, in the second conference room of the Medical Technology Building, Presidnet Wang Yi briefed Professor Chen Guoqiang on the hospital's development history, medical characteristics, human resources and operation. With deeply desire that Professor Chen Guoqiang can offer valuable opinions through this visit, boost the development of various undertakings in this hospital, and benefit the health of the people of the province.
