The treatment and care were very careful. After returning to his hometown in Guizhou, he often received phone calls from doctors asking him about his physical recovery and told him take the medicine on time."In 10 more days, I will be able to get through the most dangerous rejection period of the first three months. I am very confident in my body."

Wang Yi, a specialist in organ transplantation and president of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University, said that lung transplantation is a more difficult operation in all major organ transplantation operations. It is currently the only effective method for treating end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and other diseases, and it is also recognized as a
high-risk and difficult operation in the world's medical community.

Wang Yi also said that based on the successful completion of the first lung transplant operation, the Second Hospital of Haiyi Medical School will continue to optimize the process, further improve the medical level and service quality, so that patients in Hainan Island can enjoy high-quality medical services.
