On May 15, the 2021 Annual Conference of Dialysis and Transplantation Branch of Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering and The 2nd Boao Dialysis and Transplantation Forum was opened at Haikou, which hosted by the Dialysis and transplantation Branch of Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering and Hainan Provincial Organ Transplant Professional Committee, and organized by The Second Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University.

Nearly 300 medical experts, scholars and hospital representatives from all over the country attended this forum including Gao Xin Pu who is the deputy director of Medical Administration and Hospital Authority of Health Commission of Hainan province, Professor Chen Shi who is the former Chairman of Organ Transplantation Branch of Chinese Medical Association, Professor Xue Wu Jun who is the designate Chairman of Organ transplantation Branch of Chinese Medical Association, Professor Chen Zhong Shi who is the Editor-in-Chief of Chinese Journal of Organ Transplantation, Professor Wang Yi who is the President of The Second Hospital of Hainan Medical University. The forum is taked broadcast live, with more than 80,000 online viewers.

The theme of the forum is "Optimizing the Access and Development Environment of All Fields of Transplantation Science", discussion of the Development and the path of reform of Chinese organ transplantation by Clinical practices progression of Kidney transplantation in China, dialysis and Nephrology progression, xenotransplantation and robot-assisted kidney transplantation, transplantation in Children, simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplantation, cell transplantation. The forum invites transplant experts from the United States, Japan, Singapore and Turkey to conduct online exchanges on cell transplantation, kidney transplantation, liver transplantation and heart transplantation.
