Overview

The Second Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical College established an independent department of gynecology from obstetrics and gynecology in July 2016. The department of gynecology is one of the key disciplines in our hospital. It has strong professional and technical strength, excellent echelon talents, rigorous echelon management and the service is first-class. In the diagnosis and treatment of all kinds of obstetrical and gynecological diseases, it has a solid theoretical basis, rich clinical experience and skilled surgical skills, and has been trusted by the majority of patients deeply. The department is equipped with 56 beds, the ward environment is warm and comfortable. There is not only a cheap and tidy multi-person ward, but also has a complete set of single wards. In which, the patients really feel at home. Departments continue to develop and apply a variety of new technologies, new projects, broaden the scope of service. At present, there are more than 30 staff, 4 staff with senior professional titles, 1 staff with doctoral degree, 3 staff with master degrees, more than 10 attending and resident doctors. The talent team is young, with profound academic background, strong technical force and comprehensive and exquisite technology. Service

Clinical Service

The department diagnoses and treats various gynecological common diseases, frequently-occurring diseases, difficult and severe cases. There are standardized diagnosis and treatment systems for benign and malignant uterine tumors as well as ovarian tumors, treatment systems for adolescent and perimenopausal functional uterine bleeding, treatment systems for endometriosis and adenomyosis, diagnosis and treatment systems for infertility, and standardized screening diagnosis and treatment systems for cervical precancerous lesions and endometrial lesions, etc.

Features

The department is renowned for minimally invasive diagnosis and therapy (laparoscopy) for gynecological disease. The surgeons have performed laparoscopy and other minimally invasive procedures since 2003.

At present, minimally invasive treatment of benign and malignant gynecological diseases, as well as pelvic floor structure and dysfunction, has been carried out in an all-round way. Proficient in interventional, laparoscopic, hysteroscopic and other minimally invasive and endoscopic surgery, such as laparoscopic extensive hysterectomy, laparoscopic ovarian cancer comprehensive staging, laparoscopic endometrial carcinoma comprehensive staging, laparoscopic pelvic and abdominal lymph node dissection, laparoscopic total hysterectomy, ovarian cyst exfoliation, laparoscopic hysteromyomectomy, hysteroscopic uterine adhesion release, hysteroscopic submucosal myomectomy, as well as all kinds of open surgery, and can carry out the international leading level of single-hole laparoscopic surgery.
