Radiology

Overview

Radiology is one of the first departments established by the hospital. After several generations of efforts, it has developed into a large-scale integrated radiology department with a wide range of generalization, intervention, CT, MR, etc., distributed in the General Hospital, East Lake Branch, and Wushi Branch. In recent years, it has achieved rapid development. It is mainly reflected in the advanced equipment, strong technical force, significantly improved diagnosis and treatment level, and has become an important force in clinical, teaching and scientific research. Advanced equipment: At present, the department is equipped with 2 MR, 5 spiral CT, 1 double-plate vascular machine, 5 DR , 2 digital gastrointestinal machine,1 breast DR , 2 mobile DR and 2 CR , including the US GE750W large aperture 3T MR, Germany Siemens 1.5T MR, the second generation dual source CT, 64 row VCT. Equipped with a PACS system distributed throughout the hospital. There are about 60 people in the diagnosis group, technical group, nurse group and intervention group, including 3 chief physicians, 3 deputy chief physicians, 1 deputy chief technician, 1 deputy director nurse, and 26 middle-level staff. Service

General radiology carries out specific projection and dental photography tasks of various parts of the whole system, and can carry out various special angiographic examinations; CT and MR all parts of the system are scanned and enhanced, in CT angiography, MR has developed its own characteristics in various advanced functional imaging; breast DR has special examination and special diagnosis; the interventional treatment group is the earliest department in the province to carry out interventional treatment. Currently, the projects that can be carried out include: tumor interventional therapy and peripheral vascular interventional therapy. Cardiac interventional therapy, neurological interventional therapy, etc. Disciplinary development will develop cardiovascular CT and MR diagnosis and develop molecular imaging diagnosis based on the consolidation of various sub-specialties.

Teaching: The standardized training base for medical imaging residents in our hospital is one of the first batch of national training bases in our province. Our department has long been responsible for the undergraduate teaching of Hainan Medical College, and undertakes the training tasks of students and doctors in Hainan Medical College, Agricultural and Health School, Provincial Health School and provincial medical colleges. The teachers have rich experience in clinical teaching and have been repeatedly trained by Hainan Medicine. The hospital was rated as an excellent internship teaching department. Due to the many opportunities for operation on the machine, the case discussion and the standard of teaching and reading are widely praised by interns and advanced students. It is an ideal base for imaging studies.

Scientific research: At present, our department has carried out research projects of many provincial natural science funds, but the scientific research strength is relatively weak.
