Introduction

Cardiovascular ward  Ⅱ of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University is an outstanding group which including 8 doctors and 17 nurses, incorporating 3 senior professional titles, 2 mediun-grade professional titles and 4 postgraduates in all. In accordance with experienced and skilled teniches and first-class services, we focus on building a gorgeous academic group and stduying the mechanism of varieties of cardiovascular diseases. 

Our department has 39 beds, including 2 emergency rooms. Our team is experienced and skilled in diagnosis and treatment in hypertension, coronary heart disease, cardiomyopathy, pericarditis, heart failure, rheumatic heart disease, infective endocarditis, and cardiovascular diseases of critical patients, especially in diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmia. Our department engages in normal esophageal cardiac stroke, heart electrophysiological examination, supraventricular tachycardia, premature ventricular contraction, ventricular tachycardia, atrial flutter and atrial fibrillation radiofrequency ablation treatment of arrhythmia in rapidity, which is in the forefront level of Hainan Province and has been carried out in 58 patients with atrial fibrillation. 

Clinical Service

Besides we firstly completed left atrial auricular occlusion, which filled the technical gap of mechanotherapy in preventing atrial thrombosis in patients with atrial fibrillation in province. And up to now, 3 patients with atrial fibrillation have been treated with left atrial auricular occlusion. In December 2017, we won the first batch of Chinese atrial fibrillation center construction units and carried out relevant training and standardized treatment of atrial fibrillation, which won the praise of certified experts. In addition, in terms of pacing electrophysiology, our departmemt could carry out three-chamber anti-heart failure pacemakers (cardiac resynchronization therapy CRT-P or CRT-D) and implantable cardio-defibrillator (ICD)in addition to routine temporary cardiac pacing and implantation of single-chamber and double-chamber permanent cardiac pacemakers for the treatment of bradycardia. In addition, our interventional team has accumulated rich and effective experience in the interventional diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease, the closure of congenital heart disease and the balloon dilatation of mitral stenosis in rheumatic heart disease for many years.

In line with the concept of "ER" and the ideas of "medicine, teaching and research, we tally up experience from the clinical work. Up to now, we has written and published more than 80 national and provincial medical journal papers. Besides we edited and published 5 books includin the hypertension combination strategy, the coronary heart disease drug strategies as well as chairing 1 provincial scientific research projects, which help us won a third prize for science and technology progress prize of Hainan province, a second prize of Hainan province agricultural reclamation administration of new science and 3 new projects of hospital medical new technology prize . (including publishing 2 papers in the Chinese series)
